  • Inhalt: Zielsetzung dieser Vorlesung mit anschließenden Übungen ist die Vermittlung von Kenntnissen über Grundlagen der funktionalen und objektorientierte Programmierung sowie die Behandlung grundlegender Datenstrukturen und Algorithmen. Werkzeuge des wissenschaftlichen Rechnens und der Datenverarbeitung, insbesondere für die Visualisierung und Bearbeitung von Messdaten werden vorgestellt.

  • Course Content: The basic techniques of scientific presentation, effective usage of Power Point and other presentation soft wares, tools and rules for scientific writing, explanation of publication processes, as well as practical exercises for public presentations of students’ own research.

  • Course Content: This semester we will compare the knowledge covered in previous and current text books. Students will present examples of how our knowledge in biology advanced and how the way, this knowledge is presented in books, changed. This seminar is open for Bachelor and Master students. Also Education (Lehramt) students and students from non-biology backgrounds are welcome.

  • Additional Information: Basic knowledge of molecular cell biology is required. The seminar is in English and will be held via Zoom (online).

to receive one CP in the biological colloquium, the following regulations apply for the summer term 2021:

You must digitally attend 10 lectures in this semester and write a one-page summary for one of the heard lectures. This summary must be submitted to the host of the selected lecture for credit.
